Library Project

In August 2006, the Estacada Public Library opened in its new location on Wade Creek Pond. The 12,060 sq ft Library, including the 900 sq. ft. Flora Community Room, houses a collection which includes thousands of movies, books, and CDs, and over 200 magazine subscriptions. The Library provides needed services to the community: 25 public computers with free internet access and wireless, weekly story times and participation in the state-wide Summer Reading Program

The history of the Library Project may be accessed in the news archives or the visual history in the photo archives.

This beautiful library, the result of much hard work and support from the community, represents the heart of Estacada. It has been called ‘the finest public building in Clackamas County’ by Oregonian columnist Andy Parker.
