About the Foundation
Created in 1998 by members of the community dedicated to improving the Library through increased private support, the Estacada Public Library Foundation is an important partner in supporting and enriching library services for the community of Estacada. The Foundation is an independent, nonprofit, charitable entity that relies on financial contributions from local residents and foundations to promote the growth and excellence of library services. Contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible under Section 501 (c) (3) of the IRS Code.
Foundation Directors
Ted Housen, Chair, Foundation Director since 2007.
A 20 year Oregon resident, Ted has lived in Estacada since 1996. While his daughter was a student, he enjoyed supporting the excellent choir and drama programs of Estacada Jr. High and High School. He is a past president of the Northeast Portland Rotary Club and the Lower Columbia Canoe Club, where he continues to serve on the board of directors.
Katinka Bryk, Vice Chair, Foundation Director since 2007. Katinka has been with the Estacada Public Library since 1991. She served six years on the Estacada Area Arts Commission, and continues to work with the Artback Artists Cooperative on their mural projects. Katinka received her Bachelor Degree from San Francisco State University and her Master of Library and Information Science from Emporia State University.

He believes in the cultural and social values of a vibrant community library.
Jack Townes, Foundation Director since 2007.
Jack is both a farmer and museum preparator. He served on the Estacada Library Board for eight years, the Library Building Task Force and the Library Community Advisory Committee.
Susan Wagner, Foundation Director since 2008.
